American Cancer Society The Suncoast Ghostbusters work to raise money throughout the year to benefit the American Cancer Society. This typically begins in the Fall and ends in Spring with the Relay For Life in Largo, Florida. The Relay is an incredible event that celebrates cancer survivors, remembers those we have lost, and continues the battle against the disease with on site fundraising and support. The Walk is always a great experience and our team is proud to participate. For a donation you can get your picture taken with our team or other costuming groups such as the 501st Legion or Heroes Alliance. But beware, the Suncoast GBs are also known to invade theaters before the movie starts in pursuit of ectoplasmic entities. Of course, hilarity ensues and funds are collected. Stars of Hope benefits the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, Variety - The Children's Charity, The Will Rogers Foundation, American Red Cross, and many others. More information visit the following links: Regal Stars of Hope: http://www.regmovies.com/stars-of-hope 4Kids Charity The 4Kids (Kids In Difficult Situations) Charity is an organization founded by Frank and Karen Kolbaba and run events such as a motorcycle toy run, school supply drives, and Kids Fishing Day, which is a special day set aside each year for kids with special needs who can come out to the Elks Lodge in Madeira Beach and fish off the pier, as well as enjoy a lunch, games, and entertainment by costumed characters including the Suncoast Ghostbusters. We've had the privledge of helping this organization over the years in several ways and continue to support their efforts. 4Kids Charity: http://4kidscharity.org/ MUCH Foundation The Makers United for Children's Hope Foundation dials up the Suncoast Ghostbusters whenever they need some blue collar heroes to mix it up at their events. Through our Hospital, charitable, military and home visitation programs we identify the areas of personal need and assist children and families to help change their lives during their struggle with disease, financial hardship or disability.
